Why 'AUSPICIOUS'?

 

The artwork here is created around many subjects chosen that has a symbolic power which is "Auspicious".

 

For the fact that some maybe rare (images created in sacred and holy places around the world like Israel- Nativity's Church where Jesus was born, or Machu Picchu in Peru), or that they share a common collective feeling of 'good energy'. Throughout the years, Ken's study of Soul Psychology and its principles, the different cultural backgrounds, spirituality, belief systems had given him the understanding that certain subjects not only in fact emit or carry a certain frequency or subtle energy that is 'life-enhancing', which science is validating, but also the 'WAY/s' in which the subject is 'placed' or 'shown' within an environment or dimensions such as colors, certain forms, gives the final artwork with the selected subject as a 'framed energy symbol'. (The GOLD-ALCHEMY SERIS is his collection of work based on the principle of alchemy and its symbolic significance. For the many reasons known and unknown to people, one must question why so many cultures and religions and spiritual backgrounds consider and use GOLD as the highest form of adornment or value)

 

The traditional SCIENCE/Art of Feng Shui is based on the science of understanding elements, symbolic objects and placements in relationships to other elements to 'improve' certain aspects of life that people may find 'favourable' or 'auspicious'.  In Ken's understanding and view, he believes much of the science is also based on your personal relationship to 'symbols' that are meaningful to you that is personal, and he believes that each person intuitively and 'subconsciously' knows what is good for them in their own innate wisdom, like when a person knows that they may need to go outside and take a walk and get some sun light because they feel their body's innate intelligence to tell them to move towards a higher energetic equilibrium, or that the body knows when it is out of balance. Ken believes the same wisdom and intelligence extends to each person's relationship to their environment and space, which is most 'exercised' at the moment where they move to a new home and they want to buy furnitures with a choice of colors that they like, without realizing that the shape and colors actually go beyond the aesthetic preferences. 

(The Subconscious is the part of your mind that knows when to shift gears or clutch after you have been driving for a few years, and that you no longer need to tell yourself consciously to shift gear when you are first learning driving)
